[PyTorch/에러 해결] PyTorch-Tensorboard와 libprotobuf 문제

멀쩡하게 잘 돌아가던 코드가 갑자기 알 수 없는 에러가 나면서 실행이 안됐다..

protobuf라는 Python package의 문제인건가 싶어서 버전을 확인해 봤지만 ..

오류 메세지에서는 3.8.0 이상의 version이 필요한데, 설치된 version은 그보다 낮다고 한 것 같은데

실제로 설치된 version은 3.13.0이였다. 저거 말고 다른 곳에서 불러와서 사용하는 듯 한데.. 잘 모르겠음

 

그런데 에러 메세지를 다시 보니.. Tensorflow와 관련된 에러가 발생한 것 같은데 나는 PyTorch만 사용하는데 이게 대체 먼 일일까..

 

잘 생각해보니 Pytorch-Tensorboard를 사용하고 있는데 여기서 에러가 난 것 같았다.

디버깅을 해보니 실제로 Tensorboard writer을 정의할 때 실행이 멈췄다.

 

PyTorch를 업그레이드 했는데, 업그레이드 한 PyTorch에서 사용하는 Tensorboard가 이전 버전보다 더 높은 protobuf를 요구하는데 같이 업그레이드가 안된듯..

 

 

Trial 1. Tensorflow 버전 업그레이드

PyTorch를 다운그레이드할 수는 없어서.. Tensorflow를 업그레이드하면 잘 되지 않을까? 싶어서 업그레이드 해봤는데.. 똑같은 에러만 발생했다.

 

CUDA, driver, PyTorch + Tensorflow 호환되는 version 찾고 설치(업그레이드, 다운그레이드)하기

 

 

Trial 2. PyTorch 버전 다운그레이드

결국 그냥 지쳐서 .. PyTorch를 원래 버전으로 다운그레이드 했더니잘 돌아갔다.. ^_^

PyTorch-Tensorboard가 참조하는 protobuf의 위치를 찾고 잘 업그레이드하면 되지 않을까 .. 싶었지만

아무리 찾아도 나오질 않았다

 

Torchaudio를 업그레이드 해야 해서 PyTorch도 업그레이드 한건데.. 그냥 안쓰지 뭐...
